Donald Trump has suggested that he thinks Fox News should be his own propaganda channel.
In a series of tweets on Wednesday, the president lashed out at the news channel over an interview with a Democratic communications director about the party’s 2020 presidential candidates.
Trump was furious that Fox News had allowed someone to promote his rivals on the notoriously right-wing channel.
Then he alluded to something many people have suspected for a long time – Trump thinks its Fox News’ job to help him win the 2020 election…
The tweets were such a brazen interference with Fox’s editorial policy that it managed to anger some of the channel’s conservative contributors.
And even some people who have been complaining about Fox News for years were taken aback.
The moral of the story is - no matter how much you praise Trump, he will always turn on you eventually.
At least Xochitl Hinojosa, the communications director featured in the interview, got some free publicity out of it.
If you’re curious to see what sort of interview would throw Trump into a rage, you can watch an interview clip with Hinojosa below.
Who knows what Trump is going to do with his time now, if he's not watching Fox News 24/7 anymore.
