Trump accuses Fox of 'moving to the losing side' after giving coverage to Pete Buttigieg

Donald Trump has aired his outrage at the fact that Fox News did their job and covered a story on a Democratic presidential candidate.

On Sunday night, Trump lashed out at Fox on Twitter, criticising them for broadcasting a town hall with Pete Buttigieg, one of the many Democrats running for president in 2020.

During the discussion, Buttigieg won a massive round of applause after criticising Fox hosts like Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham for the rhetoric they promote on the network.

Trump, who almost exclusively watches Fox News, was obviously tuning in for what Buttigieg had to say but clearly wasn't happy with the fact that one of his potential opponents next year was on a network that the president practically has a monopoly over.

Taking to Twitter, Trump accused Fox of 'wasting airtime on Mayor Pete' adding that he believed they were 'moving more and more to the losing (wrong) side in covering the Dems' and that 'Alfred E Neuman (the nickname he has assigned to Buttigieg) will never be president.'

Buttigieg isn't the only Democrat to appear on the network as Senators Kirsten Gillibrand, Amy Klobuchar, Kamala Harris, John Delaney, John Hickenlpper, Andrew Yang and Bernie Sanders have all been interviewed by Fox this year.

Elizabeth Warren is one of the few Democrats who hasn't appeared on the network, reportedly refusing to take part in the same town hall that Buttigieg appeared in.

Trump's rant against a news network basically doing their job and covering an election prompted a lot of response and thoughts on Twitter with many people pointing out the same thing.

That being said he was interviewed by Steve Hilton on Fox News that same night so he's hardly got a leg to stand on.
