Trump just used emojis for the first time and people are seriously disturbed

Everyone knows that Donald Trump is a big fan of Twitter.

The commander-in-chief’s usage of the platform already seemed like it was dialled up to maximum intensity.

Until now.

Because the president has apparently just discovered emoji.

On Wednesday, Trump pumped out a tweet with two new additions – expressive little yellow faces.

They really added a certain je ne sais quoi to his message about how “lucky” America was to have him as president.

“The Dow Jones Industrial just closed above 29,000!” he wrote. “You are so lucky to have me as your President [winking emoji]. With Joe Hiden’ [sic] it would crash [shocked emoji]”

Safe to say people aren’t exactly enthused by the thought of the president discovering an entirely new way to express himself.

The tone many took was one of weary prediction.

Others just said it straight.

There were some who erred on the optimistic side.

And others who went full doomsday.

However, some were too busy to even note the brand new emoji usage.

Once Trump hits me-mojis, there will be no worlds left to conquer.
