Trump supporters are calling for a boycott over reports that Coca-Cola is forcing employees to go through racism training that teaches white workers to “be less white”.

An internal whistleblower shared training curriculum from a public LinkedIn Learning seminar on “Confronting Racism, with Robin DiAngelo”, showing a number of short vignettes.

It encouraged employees to “Be less oppressive, be less arrogant, be less certain, be less defensive, be less ignorant, be more humble, listen, believe, break with apathy, break with white solidarity”, in order to “be less white”.

Yet Trump supporters are not impressed with the corporation’s training and are mockingly calling the brand ‘Woka-Cola’.

Conservative Brigitte Gabriel tweeted: “RT if you are done with @CocaCola products!!”

Thomas Hern said: “I don’t know how to be ‘less white’ but I do know how to drink less coke.”

The American alt-right political activist Jack Posobiec also tweeted: “Coke’s popularity was because of their Americana marketing. This effect has been examined in many studies, which also show Pepsi doing better in taste tests. But now Coke just threw 100 years of marketing out the window.”

He then requested: “Anyone got any Coca-Cola racism training memes?”

Conservative activist Melissa Tate said: “What Coke & other organizations are doing should be rejected by all of society. Critical Race Theory is a Marxist ideology designed to create permanent racial division & Balkanization to conquer America from within.”

Another Twitter user, declaring himself ‘Proudly White/Afrikaans’, said: “Remember it is not just Coke, it is everything made my Coca-Cola. #BoycottCocaCola

And a Twitter user called ‘CensoredConservative’ said: “I’m never going to try to be ‘less white’. I am who I am, what God made me. Deal with it. It’s just another kind of racism.”

She rounded off her rant with a photo of a can of Coca-Cola being poured down the toilet.
