On Tuesday it was announced that Bernie Sanders had won the New Hampshire primary putting him in pole position to become the Democratic presidential candidate after also winning in Iowa.
Speaking in Manchester after the results had come in, 78-year-old Sanders said:
This is a movement from coast to coast that is demanding that we have an economy and a government that works for all of us.
We are taking on billionaires and we’re taking on candidates funded by billionaires.
Trump has remained relatively quiet on Sanders' success but did say that he would rather face Sanders in the race as "Bernie has real followers" – an apparent dig at another Democratic candidate Mike Bloomberg.
Over on Twitter, Trump – who is usually more than happy to take snide swipes at any Democrat – remained quiet on Sanders, instead of taking pops at the likes of Bloomberg, Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg.
However, if you look closely at Trump's many tweets and retweets from Tuesday you may notice something unusual.
Trump, who has been known to retweet literally anyone who agrees with one of his many viewpoints, shared a tweet from a man with the Twitter handle @CANCEL_SAM who had posted a picture of the POTUS next to Bloomberg on a golf course with the hashtag #BloombergIsRacist.
Trump added a comment about Bloomberg's golf skills which weren't very complimentary.
Mini Mike is a short ball (very) hitter. Tiny club head speed. KEEP AMERICA GREAT!
Nothing strange there until @CANCEL_SAM changed his Twitter name to read 'BERNIE BEATS TRUMP' which is an epic piece of trolling from that man. Well done.
Amazingly Trump hasn't noticed that his account is basically running an advert for his opponent as the tweet is still there.
@CANCEL_SAM was understandably very happy.
Here's is a screengrab just in case he does notice.

As you can imagine, people loved this perfect takedown of the president.
This is hardly the first time that this has happened.
In May 2019, Trump retweeted someone who promptly changed their name to 'F**k Donald Trump.'
