Donald Trump has a weird obsession with former action movie star turned politician and reality TV host Arnold Schwarzenegger to the extent where he seems to believe that he is no longer alive.
In 2015, the Austrian replaced Trump as the host of The Celebrity Apprentice which has always irked the president as the two men don't exactly see eye-to-eye.
During Trump's maligned 'Social Media Summit' at the White House on Thursday, the president made a bizarre claim about Schwarzenegger when the topic of theApprenticecame up, for no apparent reason.
According to Yahoo's White House correspondent, Hunter Walker, Trump said that he had seen the former governor of California 'die' and that he was there to see it.
We can't be entirely sure but we think Trump was speaking figuratively and doesn't believe that Schwarzenegger is actually dead and was instead referring to the low ratings of the Apprentice with the ex-bodybuilder at the helm.
Spotting Trump's quote on Walker's tweet, the 71-year-old replied with a line that wasn't quite up there with some of his iconic lines from The Terminator or Predator but was still a perfect rebuttal of Trump.
We don't need to explain too much stuff here but Schwarzenegger was clearly referencing Trump's consistently ellusive tax returns and people loved it.
Trump, who still has an executive producer credit on the show, was ultimately the reason that Schwarzenegger's stint on The Apprentice struggled.
Speaking to Empire in 2017, Schwarzenegger said that viewers were boycotting the show because of Trump's continued involvement.
I learned a lot, I had a great time, it was a really great opportunity. But under the circumstances, I don’t want to do it again
With Trump being involved in the show people have a bad taste and don’t want to participate as a spectator or as a sponsor or in any other way support the show.
It’s a very divisive period now and I think this show got caught up in all that division.
