A conservative activist has made a bizarre claim against Donald Trump being racist following fresh allegations of sexual misconduct by the president.
Alva Johnson, who worked as a campaign staffer for Trump in 2016 is suing the president for reportedly kissing her without consent outside of a rally in Tampa, Florida.
Speaking to the Washington Posthas claimed that the president tried to kiss her in August 2016 but she moved her head causing Trump to place his lips on the side of her mouth.
I immediately felt violated because I wasn’t expecting it or wanting it. I can still see his lips coming straight for my face.
This story is just one of the many claims of sexual misconduct made against Trump, the most notorious of these being the so-called 'Trump Tapes' that was released prior to his election victory.
The difference here is that Johnson is the first person to actually sue Trump for harassment on the campaign trail. The lawsuit reads:
To Defendant Trump, however, Ms. Johnson was nothing more than a sexual object he felt entitled to dominate and humiliate.
Like he has done with so many other women, Defendant Trump violated norms of decency and privacy by kissing Ms. Johnson on the lips without her consent in the middle of a Florida work event and in front of numerous other Campaign officials.
Given that this is an allegation against Trump, his supporters have been attempting to find any way to defend the president against these claims.
As you can guess they have been clutching at straws but this meme from a man named Derek Schwartz is really something else.
The meme is essentially making fun of liberals or Trump critics by mocking them for having to choose between Trump being a racist and Trump being accused of sexual misconduct.
It is implying that Trump cannot be a racist because he attempted to kiss a black woman and as you can probably imagine, this ignorant take hasn't gone down too well.
That last tweet is a reference to Sally Hemings, an enslaved mixed-race woman who was owned by president Thomas Jefferson, who was also believed to be in a relationship with and fathered her five children.
