This old busker's rapping on the streets of London is quite incredible

Big things happened in Carnaby Street on Wednesday.

It's a London spot known for its music and culture - and one elderly gentleman made it his own, 'spitting bars' next to a spindly tree.

He was filmed reciting the well-known words of Croydon rapper Stormzy. The mad lyricist got down to Stormzy's 'Shut Up'.

Which begins...

Man try say he's better than me
Tell my man, shut up
Mention my name in your tweets
Oi rudeboy, shut up

The video went viral online, and Stormzy himself even tweeted about the cover of his track, which went to number eight in the UK singles chart.

According to NME the incident was a stunt to promote a new film. But it's still great.

As Stormzy himself commented:

Bruddah... I've seen a lot of strange things in my life, but this has gone and f--king topped it. #OiRudeBoyShutUp."
