These cartoons are poignant tributes to victims of the Charlie Hebdo attack

These cartoons are just some of the moving images drawn in response to the terror attack on the satrical magazine Charlie Hebdo in which 12 people died.

Because as JK Rowling said when she tweetedthe Independent's front page cartoon by Dave Brown (above) "sometimes a picture says it better than any writer could".
