The countries that are home to the most emotional people in the world are predominantly in Latin America, a study of almost 150,000 adults in 148 countries has found.
Gallup asked people via phone interview whether they had experienced positive or negative emotions in the previous day.
As this chart from Statista shows, former Soviet republics feature heavily in the least emotional list, although Bangladesh is technically the least emotional country in the world.
