These are the biggest divorce hotspots in England and Wales

The UK's first men-only divorce lawyers may have set up in London last month, but they would probably have been better off in Birmingham.

As this chart from Statista shows, using data from the Ministry of Justice, the city is the biggest divorce "hotspot" in England and Wales.

Birmingham outranks Weston-super-Mare, Leicester and Romford for the most petitions for divorce in the last year while the only representative from the capital is in Croydon.
