Steve Cutts is an illustrator and animator from London. He doesn’t like consumerism’s hold over us, as you may be able to tell by his cartoons.
They show his frustration with modern life, something we all may be able to relate to, especially the ways in which people’s lives are dictated by capitalism, technology and social media approval.
His YouTube channel is also something special, if you fancy seeing how Jessica Rabbit’s life didn’t quite wind up how she expected.
Cutts studied fine arts before spending several years as an illustrator at London creative agency Glueisobar.
During his time there worked for a range of clients, including Coca-Cola, Google, Reebok and Sony.
But since 2012 he has been working as a freelancer and his work has been featured on the Adult Swim network and Channel 4.
Love them or hate them, his illustrations provide some biting perspectives on the modern world.
As Cutts said in an interview with Featured magazine:
I like to make animations about life and society in general, so there tends to be a message in most of them. The general insanity of mankind is an almost endless pot of inspiration!
