The Weeknd has started dating another of Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriends

All aboard the celebrity relationship merry-go-round.

You'll probably recall that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were pretty sweet on each other between 2010 and 2013.

The teen idols were threatening to become the next Bennifer but it didn't work out.

Since going their separate ways the two have dated a number of other high-profile individuals.

Bieber had been seen stepping out with 21-year-model Yovanna Ventura, shortly after being linked with Kylie Jenner.

Meanwhile Gomez was in a brief relationship with Canadian musician and enemy of spellcheck, The Weeknd.

With both of those relationships also coming to an abrupt end, those involved have been looking for comfort elsewhere.

US Weekly report that The Weeknd was seen with Yovanna Ventura at the party of the hip-hop star French Montana on Thursday night.

A source told the website:

The Weeknd was there hand in hand with Yovanna Ventura all night.

They arrived together. They were holding hands.

He was there for a solid two hours with her and everywhere they went they held hands.

Another source added that everyone's second favourite Canadian R'n'B singer was really making a show of his affection for Ventura.

He was parading her around. He was trying to make it obvious that he was with someone.

They were pretty affectionate and were together the entire night.

They weren't done there. On Friday they were spotted with each other again in the back of SUV after exiting the Hyde nightclub in Las Vegas.

In the midst of all this, Bieber and Gomez have managed to rekindle their friendship.

This was after Gomez underwent an unexpected kidney transplant in September.

A source close to the "Sorry" singer told US Weekly:

He was concerned and, as a friend, checked in

They started hanging out again. They just care about each other.

UNILADadd the Bieber visited his ex in hospital and the two have been hanging out again ever since.

All's well that ends well in the world of celebrity relationships.
