France and the whole world has been horrified by the terrorist attacks in Paris that have left dozens dead.
A series of bomb and gun attacks at restaurants, bars, a football stadium and a theatre were described as "unprecedented" by Francois Hollande.
The French president announced two measures in an address to the nation: a state of emergency being declared, and the country's borders being closed.
At time of writing, we do not know who is responsible for the attacks, but many appeared quick to blame new arrivals in France, including refugees.
As said, at this stage we do not know who is responsible for the attacks, but a knee-jerk reaction blaming refugees is plain wrong.
In any case, Hollande ordered the closure of France's borders, for the first time in decades, to stop the attackers from escaping.
