One of Britain's leading wine retailers has revealed the nation's favourite grapes and which varieties are popular in which region.
According to Laithwaite's, which gathered the figures from its database of 400,000 customers, the most popular out of hundreds of varieties for sale in "Grape Britain" (their joke, not ours) is Sauvignon Blanc.
Meanwhile, the retailer found that Champagne was most popular in the City of London, Pinot Grigio was popular in Pembroke and the people of Ramsgate love Rosé.
