As arguments over tax continue to dominate the election campaign, Esher in Surrey has been crowned the UK’s number one income tax hotspot.
Research by accountants UHY Hacker Young attributes this to celebrity residents and City commuters who pay four times the national average. Just one location outside the South-east - Tatton in Cheshire - made the top 10.
