His school once told him to stop his business because it will never provide him with a living.

They couldn't have been more wrong.

Ben Towers is now a millionaire at 19.

The entrepreneur's unbelievable story kicked off when he set up a web-design agency in his bedroom.

It started off well, but as the business grew, people at school took notice and Mr Towers faced a backlash. He told LadBible:

It led to a lot of comments.

I wouldn't say it was bullying, exactly - not like some people get - but it was a constant stream of trying to put me down.

They called me 'Business Ben' and stuff like that.

There were a couple of times I went home and cried.

In spite of putdowns from his peers, the teenager grew his company by using web services like People Per Hour - his clients never questioned his age as he just looked like another professional providing digital services.

By the time he turned 14, he hired his first employee.

Just two years later he had an office in London and now, he’s just agreed to a multi-million-pound merger of the company.

But Ben still seems like a typical teenager.

He loves listening to Ed Sheeran, lives with his mum and sister at home, watches football and goes on nights out.

He’s only really splashed out on an Audi, but usually keeps his spending well under control.

He told LadBible:

My dad is a designer and mum works for the NHS, and they make sure I keep my feet on the ground.

I'm not a big spender.

I'm not about to go off the rails.
