We all know by now that Beyoncé is untouchable and to suggest that she would suffer something as unfortunate as a wardrobe malfunction is just wrong.

When exiting Rihanna's third annual Diamond Ball in New York City with Jay-Z, paparazzi caught a sight of something discreetly hidden.

It wasn't a bra strap, a stray hair or smudged bit of make up. No, it was just a small glimpse of the spanx she was wearing under her silk dress.

Spanx. That's it. Nothing more nothing less.

Here are a few photos of this supposedly "shocking" moment.

As you can imagine nearly every newspaper and website under the sun jumped on it with over the top headlines.

Here it is in the Daily Mail, The Mirror, Hollywood Life, The Express, The Sun.

We could go on and on and on and...

Considering that this was Beyonce and Jay-Z's first public outing since the birth of their twins Sir and Rumi in June so you think the press might want to take it easy on them.

It actuality this little exposure from the media has proved to be a source of inspiration.

Her unique and creative use has got lots of women on Twitter excited. If it's good enough for Bey, it's good enough for anyone.

Take that, so-called "wardrobe malfunction."
