Hands up if you fancy living in a castle in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK.
Well you might be in luck, as a couple are looking for a caretaker to join them on the island of St Michael’s Mount, just off the coast of Cornwall.
Lord and Lady St Levan are looking for a “motivated” and discreet Castle Officer to live with them and their four children in their medieval home.
The role will see the custodian undertake a variety of tasks, from being responsible for the National Trust property’s security, to “furniture moving and picture hanging” – all while “occupying the allocated accommodation”.
The only downside to the gig? No pizza deliveries.
“The best thing about living here is having a sea view from every window,” the castle steward Duncan Murdoch told Tatler.
“The worst thing is not being able to get a pizza delivered to your door.”
St Michael’s Mount is a tidal island, meaning it is only accessible during low tide. Otherwise, you’ll have to take a boat if you want to travel to-and-from the mainland.
In other words, if you suffer from sea-sickness this might not be the job for you.

Jointly run by the National Trust and St Aubyn Estates, the castle is a family home that is also open to the public.
The island of St Michael’s Mount is rich in folklore – including tales of mermaids guiding fishermen to safety, and the local legend of Jack the Giant Killer, who conquered Cormoran the Giant after he terrorised the local population.
Anyone who wishes to have their own adventures can apply here.
