The #MannequinChallenge, the Ice Bucket Challenge, the #NoMakeUpSelfie...now #GreySweatPantsChallenge?

Past social media 'challenges' have at least managed to do something for charity or hilarity.

But this latest from the internet is a tad sad.

The 'challenge', and it's really pushing the boundaries of that word, involves men wearing grey tracksuit bottoms (clue's in the name), because the colour and fit apparently emphasise the look of a groin bulge.

The men then share a picture.

But the internet has also risen up against this exercise in phallic vanity, declaring enough to be enough.

Some people have shared photos of themselves with...embellishments...

Others have just taken the mickey.

There's some stiff competition as to which response is the funniest...

...but mostly, the consensus is that these viral 'challenges' have rather had their day.
