India's tiger population has increased by almost a third due to the efforts of conservationists, it was announced on Wednesday.
With that in mind, Statista has looked at notable instances where European wildlife populations have increased, using data from a Zoological Society of London report published last year and from the LCIE. In the case of the Eurasian beaver, the population has increased by 28,028 per cent since 1990.
