TV personality Sharon Osbourne has faced yet another backlash after a past clip resurfaced of her claiming Meghan Markle “doesn’t look Black”.
Osbourne, who is part of the US panel show The Talk, recently attracted criticism over her defence of Piers Morgan and his comments about Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Speaking to fellow presenter Sheryl Underwood, Osborne said: “Educate me. Tell me when you have heard him say racist things. Educate me. Tell me.”
Osbourne later went on to issue a public apology for her remarks, writing that she was “truly sorry” to “anyone of colour that I offended” by her comments on the programme.

The controversy also prompted broadcaster CBS to conduct an internal investigation and pull the show off-air for two days, with no programme shown on Monday or Tuesday this week.
However, Osbourne has now faced a fresh wave of criticism after a video from 2018 resurfaced on Twitter showing the former X Factor judge claiming that Markle “doesn’t look black”.
The clip, from 2018, begins with Underwood saying that Markle “brought Blackness to the royal family.”
“She ain’t Black,” Osbourne quickly responded.
After co-hosts pointed out that she is half-Black, Osbourne replied: “Yeah, no, I know, but she doesn’t look Black.”
The comments sparked passionate crosstalk from other panel members, before co-host and rapper Eve added: “Black people come in all different colours. That’s a whole other different discussion about how Black you look or not look, or how white you look. That’s a whole discussion we don’t need to have.”
The clip has since been met with shock and frustration online, with one Twitter user describing Osbourne as “clueless”:
Osbourne is yet to comment publicly on this latest video.
