Last night the so-called Grandfather of YouTube Shane Dawson posted a trailer for his upcoming documentary The Beautiful World of Jeffree Star to his 22.3 million subscribers.
Dawson and Star have been teasing the upcoming series for around a year now, to much funfair and anticipation.
Viewers reacted to the trailer with the predicted furore
The pair collaborated on Dawson's first meta-YouTube documentary The Secret World of Jeffree Star.
During the five instalments, viewers watched them become unlikely friends, and have been speculating on the possible theme of their next project.
The trailer gave little away, but did feature prominent screenshots of the infamous James Charles vs Tati Westbrook feud which blew up the Internet earlier this year.
Some viewers also noticed what looked like a brand logo - a mirror in the shape of a pig, Dawson's animal of choice - and wondered whether a new beauty brand could be on the horizon.
There were of course detractors mourning the "old Shane" whose videos focused on conspiracy theories, rather than YouTubers.
The series will be released on Tuesday 1 October.
