Republican aide licks camera because we're not sure actually

Rand Paul is running for president again and that can only mean one thing: increasingly bizarre Republican antics.

David Chelsey, Rand’s political director in New Hampshire, tried his best to do his boss proud on Monday.

Unhappy with somebody filming at a town hall event in Londonderry, New Hampshire, Chelsey sidled up to the camera and then licked it.

Looking straight down the lens he told the camera operator: “This is a closed event.”

There are 16 months to go until the US presidential election. Things could get very weird in the meantime...
