The Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded to Tunisian National Dialogue Quartet this year, for "its decisive contribution to the building of a pluralistic democracy in Tunisia in the wake of the Jasmine Revolution of 2011".
The result is somewhat unexpected as Pope Francis was widely tipped to receive the prize this year by bookmakers, and the odds were certainly not in favour of the Tunisian National Dialogue Quartet.
The chosen recipients of the prize have sometimes raised eyebrows through the years, and with such a high profile, the winners should be pretty memorable, right?
