G20 summit: Putin and bin Salman's friendly greeting has disgusted the internet

World leaders from all over the globe are currently gathering in Argentina for the G20 Summit to discuss a variety of issues that affect the entire planet.

Yet a relaxed and overly-friendly handshake between Russian president Vladimir Putin and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has shocked the internet.

The two controversial leaders clasped hands together and were noticeably laughing and joking as other leaders, including Donald Trump, filed into the room.

In recent months both men had faced accusations that they had ordered attacks on their citizens, Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi and Russian intelligence officer Sergei Skripal respectively.

Salman had received a frosty reception at the G20, particularly from French president Emmanuel Macron but Putin obviously saw no problems with him whatsoever and greeted him like an old friend.

Images of this friendly exchange soon went viral and it's safe to say that people were pretty outraged and bemused.

A lot of dark jokes soon started to arrive.

A lot of jokes were made at Trump's expense, as he can be seen entering the room in the back of the shot.

The face of Mevlut Cavusoglu, Turkey's foreign minister, really said it all.
