Piers Morgan has seen widespread backlash after he fled the Good Morning Britain set when co-presenter Alex Beresford called him out over his comments about Meghan Markle.
Meanwhile, a past clip of Prince Harry has resurfaced of the royal abruptly leaving an interview in 2013, prompting some to ask who walked off set better, Piers or Harry?
The answer is pretty clear when you see the footage.
Some may remember the dramatic moment when Prince Harry, who served in the army for a decade, rips off his mic and rapidly darts to a helicopter during a television interview in Afghanistan. It was Prince Harry’s second tour in Afghanistan, where he served with the Army Air Corps in 2013.
Naturally, duty called and the interview was cut short.
Channel 4 correspondent Paul McNamara found the archive clip from 2013 and shared it on his Twitter page.
“Some might argue, if you’re going to walk out on a TV spot, there are better reasons to do it...’ he posted, alongside the video of Harry running off.

At the time of writing, the tweet has received more than 18K likes with most commenters mainly agreeing with McNamara.
As one person responded, “That right there, is character. That’s a man who despite having privilege, despite not having to be there at all, has his squadmate's backs...”
Others had similar thoughts.
At least Harry had a damn good reason for leaving the interview @piersmorgan 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 https://t.co/7uEUAphDNJ— willireallyam (@willireallyam) 1615300232

Of course, McNamara was somewhat subtly comparing Prince Harry to the explosive moment Piers Morgan stormed of the GMB set, forcing co-presenter Susanna Reid to cut to a break.
During today’s episode of the morning program (9 March ), Morgan was criticised by co-star Alex Beresford after he dismissed Meghan Markle’s severe mental health claims during a previous episode
Alex Beresford didn’t hold back when he told Morgan that Meghan Markle “entitled to cut him off if she wanted to.”
“Has she said anything about you since she cut you off? I don’t think she has and yet you continue to trash her,” he went on.
Piers Morgan has received little sympathy for his outburst with many quick to point out that the presenter often subjects his guests to harsher critiques.
