Prince Harry was best man at the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, but protocol dictates that he should not return the favour.
Details of the wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, which is due to take place in the spring, are yet to be announced by Kensington Palace.
However, if the last Royal Wedding is anything to go by, Prince Harry will be breaking protocol like his older brother before him, if he asks his sibling to be his best man.
According to 'royal expert' Marle Koenig, British and European royal weddings, do not have a position of best man, so Prince Harry if he offers the job to his older brother Prince William, will be breaking protocol as well.
Magazine US Weekly quoted an unnamed source as saying;
Harry has several close guy friends, but there’s no way he would ask anyone but William to take on the top job.
The ceremony is due to take place at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.
The real question here is; will Prince William be able to fulfil the main duty of a best man? Planning a stag do that's better than Prince Harry arranged for him?
