The big screen version reboot of classic 90s show Power Rangers hits cinemas this month.
And if you’re a 90s kids, you're probably experiencing some nostalgia-fueled hype right now.
However, it turns out that a few changes have been made for the new version. We’re not just talking about Bryan Cranston playing Zordon.
It has been announced that the new Yellow Ranger – played by Becky G – is gay.

On the Yellow Ranger’s sexuality, director Dean Israelite told Hollywood Reporter:
She's questioning a lot about who she is. She hasn't fully figured it out yet.
I think what's great about that scene and what that scene propels for the rest of the movie is, 'That's OK.'
The movie is saying, 'That's OK,' and all of the kids have to own who they are and find their tribe.
People are pretty emotional about the news.
Of course, there's always some idiots who'll get huffy about it.
But with this, and the gay characters in Disney's Beauty and The Beast remake, it's great to see things moving in the right direction.
