A porn star, a photographer and a shaman walk into a bar.
Unfortunately that’s where the joke ends as by the end of the night the photographer was dead and now the porn star has been arrested.
Nacho Vidal, a Spanish pornographer is now being investigated on suspicion of manslaughter after a ritual last July involving toad venom left photographer Jose Luis Abad dead.

Spanish media reports that Vidal hosted a “mystic ritual” at his Valencian home, where Abad allegedly inhaled poison secreted by the North American toadbufo alvarius.
The toad’s venom is thought to contain therapeutic properties and can apparently have a hallucinogenic effect, with the substance nicknamed “the God molecule” by users.
However it is also still poisonous, resulting in Abad’s death which was initially thought to be from a heart attack.
According to Levante EMV, the ritual was recorded on a mobile phone, which is now a major piece of evidence being used by police.
An 11-month investigation has now resulted in three people being arrested, one of whom is Nacho Vidal (real name Ignacio Jordá González).
Vidal and his co-detainees are being investigated for “reckless manslaughter” and crimes against public health, reports Spanish newspaper El Paĩs.
The porn star – who has appeared in hundreds of films – has previously promoted the use of bufo alvariusvenom on his YouTube channel, which he attributes to closing his “addiction circles”.
Vidal’s lawyer, Daniel Salvador, said the death was “accidental” and rejected claims that his client acted as a “shaman” in the ritual.
He asserted that the deceased had used the poison before and wanted to try it again.
“We fully believe in [Vidal’s] innocence,” Salvador added.
