New plans that seek to keep women and girls safe have been met with disgust online.

According to The Times, there are plans to patrol plain-clothes police officers inside nightclubs and bars in light of the Sarah Everard case.

However, not everyone thinks this a great plan. In fact, some people believe that the police are often the problem, citing their conduct at the vigil at Clapham Common and the image circulating of police officers protecting the Winston Churchill statue in Parliament Square.
