Police officers high five in video footage of Dylann Roof arrest

Police have released footage of the relatively calm arrest of Dylann Roof, the 21-year-old charged with the murder of nine churchgoers in the US last week.

Shortly before taking him for Burger King, the arresting officers can be seen high-five-ing or fist-bumping once they have the suspect in cuffs.

Roof was arrested in North Carolina, roughly 250 miles away from where the massacre took place at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston 15 hours earlier.
