Piers Morgan reacted to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new Spotify venture in exactly the way you might expect.
The broadcaster shared a picture of himself pretending to throw up into a bin with the caption “really enjoying the new Harry & Meghan podcast”.
The couple are set to produce and host podcasts on the streaming service with “amazing” guests sharing “different perspectives”.
Although they have not yet released a full episode, they have posted a trailer promising a Christmas special in which people share their memories of 2020.
Reacting to this on Good Morning Britain, Morgan said:
“How awkward. How utterly vomit-making.”
“They don’t do any of the nasty stuff, the wet Wednesday at the care home in Stoke-on-Trent, they’ve bailed out of all of that. They’re now making gazillions doing these very commercial deals, which is absolutely fine but they’re only making the money because they’re the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”
To me, absolutely fine if they drop the titles. Give up the titles.”
His co-host Susanna Reid added that it’s “fair enough” they’re starting a podcast, but that she “thought it was a parody” when she first heard the trailer.
Some people rebuked Morgan for his response and to the couple’s news and congratulated them on their new venture.

Since stepping back from their duties as senior royals in January, Harry and Meghan have also signed a deal with Netflix valued in the millions of dollars.
They intend to produce documentaries, feature films, scripted shows and children’s programming on top of their podcasts.
