A train passenger was attacked after confronting two men who were smoking on a train in southeast London.

The passenger confronted the pair as he walked past after the two lit up in the carriage. One of the men jumped up and repeatedly punched the man in the face, causing his nose to bleed.

The attack happened at 00:45am on Sunday 10 October on a train travelling from Charing Cross to Gravesend.

The victim got off at New Eltham station.
