The 93rd annual Academy Awards kicking off Sunday, and despite Covid-19 safety protocols, celebrities brought their best styles. While we’re always looking forward to what women will wear, this year was better than ever for men bringing their best looks.
From Riz Ahmed to Colman Domingo, the men are definitely bringing their A-game this year when it comes to style. Perhaps it’s a symptom of donning one too many pairs of sweatpants during lockdown. Whatever the reason, the men are definitely excelling in the fashion department.
With the ceremony being split between two locations: the usual Dolby Theater in Hollywood, and Union Station in downtown Los Angeles, we’re excited to see who will show up wearing what.
Riz Ahmed in Valentino
The Sound of Metal actor looked extremely dapper in his crisp Valentino suit.
David Kaluuya donning Cartier jewelry
Daniel Kaluuya took home Best Supporting Actor, but he also won best dressed on the red carpet. The Judas and the Black Messiah actor paired his blinding Cartier necklace with a sophisticated black suit.
Leslie Odom Jr. in Brioni
Sporting an extravagant double-breasted, gilded Brioni suit, “One Night in Miami” actor Leslie Odom Jr. stole the red carpet.
Steven Yuen
“Minari” actor Steven Yuen opted for a more classic look with a simplistic, yet stunning tuxedo. It’s enough for us to forget glen’s barbaric death in The Walking Dead.
Colman Domingo in Versace
We were left speechless when we saw Colman Domingo step onto the red carpet in his magenta Versace tuxedo. We’re positive it will continue to live rent-free in our minds.
Paul Rici
“The Sound of Metal” actor really brought his own personalty onto the red carpet, donning a sequined-collar tuxedo, paired with black nail polish and a rockstar attitude.
Alan Kim in Thom Browne
We were obsessed with this little actor’s performance in “Minari,” and now we’re in awe of his killer fashion sense.
