Guido Fawkes claimed that Guardian columnist and author Owen Jones was pictured mocking the death of Horatio Chapple, the Eton schoolboy mauled by a polar bear during an expedition to the Arctic Circle.

In fact, Mr Jones, who has spoken out about demonising those from privileged backgrounds after this Socialist Worker headline, was actually photographed at the Greenpeace tent at the Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival in Dorset, the clue being the Shell logo in the background.
