Nigel Farage’s hypocrisy has been revealed in all its glory once more with a 2016 soundbite about presidential interference that has aged terribly.
In 2016, after president Obama had the temerity to suggest Brexit might not be the greatest idea, Farage referred to it as “monstrous interference” before adding, “You wouldn’t expect the British prime minister to endorse one candidate or other.”
On Thursday night, however, Farage appeared to have changed his tune.
The Brexit Party leader aired a call from Obama’s successor during which president Trump wholeheartedly endorsed Boris Johnson and warned about the dangers of Jeremy Corbyn getting into power.
As one might expect, people had thoughts.
