Conspiracy theorists are convinced that Planet X will definitely hit the Earth this year

2017 was the year the world avoided calamity on several occasions.

We're not talking about North Korea and Donald Trump threatening 'fire and fury', we're actually referring to the mysterious, fictional planet of Nibiru.

Nibiru, also known as Planet X doesn't exist but conspiracy theorists were convinced that it was going to wipe out the Earth in 2017.

Predictions of the apocalypse taking place in September, October, November and December came and went with barely a hint of the end of days.

Just when you thought 2018 would be fine, it appears that Nibiru is at it again.

Leading Nibiru researcher David Meade is convinced that the planet will bring destruction to Earth in the next few months and is already making preparations.

He told the Daily Star:

The events of the next several months are so major that as they say in the Intel community, I’m going ‘in the dark’.

The events are so huge and are both supernatural and major natural cataclysms that I wish to leave it at that.

It’s a surprise ending. It has nothing to do with politics, nor with man, actually.

In addition to this, fellow theorist Paul Begley feels that the amount of recent activity in the solar system is a clear indicator of Nibiru's imminent arrival.

He is quoted as saying:

There are asteroids, meteors – it’s all happening. The heavens are being shaken by some type of force, a gravitational pull.

People are spotting now what looks like potentially Planet X.

I have from one night three different people send me pictures of what looks like a Planet X.

There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the Earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.

As we've already mentioned these wild speculations have been pretty persistent for the last six months and the chances of them coming true are slim to none.

Towards the end of last year, Nasa responded to these rumours by completely shutting them down and pointing out that if Nibiru were real we would already be able to see it in the sky by now.
