It seems that the mobile phone App Tindr is the only place to go to get a date at the moment.
The swiping-based platform has reportedly clocked up a staggering eight billionmatches since its inception in April 2015.
It does remain a bit hit and miss for many though, with some users reporting great matches, and others leave with nothing but horror stories.
But how much of your dating success can be simply attributed to your name?
This week Tinder has released the most swiped-right first names of 2016 and, for all you Harrys and Holly's, - it's been a good year for you.
