Michael Moore has been asking the right questions on Twitter.

With Hurricane Irma set to bring devastation to Florida as early as Sunday morning, Americans are rushing to help in any way they can.

Documentary filmmaker and author Michael Moore asked this week whether Donald Trump was going to open up his Florida mansion resort as a shelter.

With 126-rooms spread over 62,500 square-feet, the members-only club certainly has enough space for anyone who might need it.

Despite Mr Moore's wishes, sheltering families and those less off at Mar-a-Largo will be tricky as the resort has been reportedly evacuated as well.

Time magazine reports that Palm Beach County officials ordered the evactuation.

If the resort goes unscathed though, it would make a perfect place to re-home people in need of shelter after the storm.
