People can’t get over Harry and Meghan naming their chicken coop ‘Archie’s Chick Inn’

In possibly the biggest news of the weekend, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have appeared in a tell-all interview with host Oprah Winfrey on US television network CBS.

During the interview, which will appear on ITV tonight, the pair discussed their experiences within the Royal Family and what ultimately led to their decisions to leave. Accusations of racism and lies within the “firm” have gripped social media ahead of the UK release as some clips of the interview have been shown.

In one part of the interview, which aired last night in the US, host Oprah visited the couple at their Santa Barabara home where they were talking while tending to chickens inside a chicken coop.

Eagle-eyed viewers quickly spotted a sign on the chicken house which read “Archie’s Chick Inn”, “Established 2021”. The sweet name, referencing their firstborn son Archie, was adored by viewers who loved the clever play on words.

The pun seemed to cause quite the stir on Twitter as users commented how cute it is.

Given the vitriol that the couple, but particularly Meghan, has received, one Twitter user wrote: “I refuse to believe anyone that worked at a place named Humphrey Yogart and has a chicken coop named ‘Archie’s Chick Inn’ is any kind of a monster.”

Other users echoed that sentiment.

Nothing but applause for that eggs-cellent pun.
