HowMuch
In today’s global society, brands dominate everything.
But which ones are the biggest in which countries?
This map, produced by cost information website How Much, reveals the largest brands in selected countries.
Each brand shown is the biggest company of its country. Each country is sized to reflect the global value of its major brand (bigger is more valuable, of course). The colours represent brand strength, out of a maximum of 100.
Google in America has the top spot, having overtaken Apple this year. South Korea’s Samsung is second, and Chinese bank ICBC in third.
Banks are the most-valued brand in eight different countries.
Britain’s biggest brand is Telecoms' company Vodafone.
