The range of things that men attempt to 'mansplain' to women is, it's fair to accept, extreme.

There have been examples of men attempting to mansplain vaginas to female gynaecologists, men have attempted to mansplain tampons to women, and men have even tried to mansplain cooking to the domestic goddess that is Nigella Lawson. Yes, you read that correctly.

Now, in the latest incredible addition to the list, a man has attempted to mansplain a woman's height to her, while referencing her wedding photographs.

Taking to Twitter, the woman in question wrote:

ive had a lot of good things happen to me on this website but a man digging up my wedding picture to prove i'm not seven and a half feet tall is by far the best

The whole bizarre exchange came about when the man attempted to argue that 'shaking hands with a woman is like shaking hand with a child' because a handshake was designed as 'a greeting between men to show their sword hand was empty'.

As the conversation continued, he then attempted to prove that the woman in question isn't seven and a half feet tall - a joke she made throughout the exchange - through creepily digging up her wedding photographs and drawing some trigonometry over the top of it;

Yes, guys, this is the level of debate we're grappling with, here.

Needless to say, people on social media thought the whole thing was hilarious.

Many questioned his maths skills.

Seriously though, wow.

Some couldn't contain how hilarious they found it.

Trigonometry to prove a point. Now that's above and beyond.

Let's just take a moment to appreciate how incredibly creepy the whole thing is, too.

But one summed it up. Oh, the pettiness!
