Following the mass shooting at a Florida school earlier this week, Americans have been sharing their thoughts on gun violence.
Comedian Michael Ian Black detailed why he felt 'toxic masculinity' led to these type of gun-related attacks.
And after the massacre at a church in Texas last year, prominent Twitter activist Michael Skolnik posed a simple question relating to shootings that later went viral.
Another thought was shared by Nathan W. Gabbard, an attorney in Los Angeles.
He used the analogy of abortion laws in America, which is a divisive topic in the country already, in relation to school shootings by proposing a simple name change.
His single tweet quickly went viral.
Nathan's thought provoked some passionate responses.
