Man turns pregnant wife into stunning piece of artwork

What happens when you combine pregnancy, flowers and art?

Artist Christophe Guinet, aka Monsieur Plant on Instagram, decided to find out.

Guinet is a French urban gardener who creates art out of plants, trees and even trainers.

Recently he and his wife, Yeva, became parents and to commemorate the final weeks of the pregnancy they decided to do something very different.

Christophe turned Yeva into a living, breathing piece of floral artwork and the results were incredible.

Speaking to BuzzFeed, Christophe explained the inspiration behind the project.

He is quoted as saying:

In this personal project, I wish to sublimate these weeks of patience and put the beauty of the woman in these magical moments, where Nature and Love make perfect allies.

He adds:

The selection of landscapes found in the series such as the forest, the mountains or the sea are elements that form part of my surroundings.

The vegetable and body compositions merge together revealing gentleness and patience in a poetic universe.

Christophe also made a video of the various pieces that Yeva wore.
