Over one million people – an estimated 1.5million in fact – attended the annual London Pride Parade.
Rainbow flags flew in their hundreds under 23C heat as LGBT+ people and their allies took to the city streets to celebrate one of the most important festivities in the community’s calendar.
Some 30,000 people participated in the procession with headdresses, heels, glitter and bright colours.
Mayor of London Sadiq Khan attended the event along with lots of others, including Emily Thornberry, Shadow Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs.
