The man photographed fleeing the scene of the London Bridge and Borough Market attack has been identified as Liverpudlian.
A small comfort was generated after the terror on Saturday, by this image of a man running away, still carrying his unfinished pint.
Similar sentiments about British fortitude were also tweeted in the days that followed.
His exact type of Britishness has now been identified. News of his hometown was reported in the Liverpool Echo.
Family members who shared the picture say he's from Maghull, Liverpool.
The man's name, the Echo believes, is 'Paul Armstrong'.
He was apparently identified in a Facebook post by a relative, although it seems the post was not publicly viewable.
