It’s becoming increasingly hard to remember a time when we shopped without face masks, had friends over for dinner, and were jostled about in overcrowded Tubes.
So, as the UK marks the first anniversary since Boris Johnson first placed the country into lockdown, Twitter users have been doing just that.
Using the hashtag “lastnormalphoto” scores of users have been posting photos – and memories – of their last taste of normality before life was turned upside down by Covid.
From holidays abroad, to drinks with friends to enjoying a football match in an actual stadium, here’s a look at some of those nostalgic snapshots:
