Kate Middleton has committed the cardinal sin of re-wearing a designer coat more than once - and some Americans can't believe it.
Page Six ran an article this week with the headline Kate Middleton wears favourite blue Alexander McQueen coat for fourth time.
Naturally Brits responded appropriately, with plenty of sarcasm.
The tone deaf article (have you heard of sustainability guys? It's all the rage now. Plus it's Second Hand September) said;
Middleton has stepped out in the cerulean jacket many times before, as far back as 2014. In fact, in April 2014 she wore it to a WW1 commemorative and Flying Day, and re-wore it a few months later in June to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
And, well, they should have probably realised what the responses would be...
Kate is a fan of McQueen in general, regularly choosing to wear the label's designs, and choosing Creative Director Sarah Burton to design her now iconic wedding dress back in 2011.
Maybe she'll recycle that too? Watch this space.
