Fourteen years ago Kanye West was on live TV supporting the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Speaking on NBC he uttered the fateful words that many Americans agreed with - and still do to this day: "George Bush doesn't care about black people."
West has since become one of Donald Trump's biggest celebrity fans, and rolled back the comments last year, saying that black people “get caught up in the idea of racism”.
He is often seen in a Make America Great Again hat, and has made comments suggesting that slavery was "a choice".
Now, as people reflect upon Kanye's most woke remarks to date, people are mourning the old Kanye, which is nowhere to be found.
RIP 2005 Kanye.
